CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Barre – Barre classes mix elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and functional training, and the moves are choreographed to motivating music. In each energizing and targeted workout, you'll exercise equipment such as mini-balls, bands and small hand weights to sculpt, slim and stretch your entire body.

Cardio Kickboxing – Martial Arts style cardio workout to help you develop a strong mind and body connection.  Learn proper technique for punches and kicks while ramping up your fitness level to increase cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, core integration and flexibility.  No experience necessary!

Cardio Kickboxing Interval – All of the above with intervals of strength training.

Insanity – Insanity increases your aerobic fitness level while burning fat. Max interval training has you work as hard as you can for 3-minute intervals, with 30-second periods of rest in between. Intervals include plyometric drills, and intervals of strength, power, resistance, and core training. No equipment or weights are needed, and you don't have to be in extreme shape to do it.

LES MILLS BODYPUMP – The original barbell workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast.

Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout. You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more.

Max Conditioning – A total body workout using a variety of resistance equipment to tighten and tone from head to toes.

Pound - Created by two female drummers, the POUND workout fuses cardio interval training with drumming to provide a challenging, heart-pumping workout.  It's a full-body workout and targets common trouble spot.

Pound/Core - Your favorite Pound workout with added core moves.

Senior Dance Gold - Perfect For. Active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower intensity.

SilverSneakers Classic- Increase muscle strength and range of movement and improve activities for daily living. You’ll have a chair for seated exercises and standing support. Your instructor can modify the exercises for your fitness level.

Spinning – This is your ride!  Experience flats, hills, jumps and much more in this indoor cycling workout.

Step & Strength- Using a step to ramp up your calorie burn, this music-driven, high-intensity cardio-conditioning class is designed specifically for the group fitness room combined with cross-training and periodization which is progressing slowly from one phase to the next. You start by using light weight (or just your body weight) and performing more reps; and you gradually progress to heavier weight and fewer reps.

Yoga - Equal part activity and restoration, work through traditional vinyasa yoga poses aimed to develop strength, flexibility, and a mind-body connection.

Gentle Yoga- Gentle yoga classes are typically described as appropriate for those who want a softer, nurturing, slow-paced, well-supported and relaxing practice.

Senior Yoga- Senior mat yoga is a specialized form of yoga - perfect for seniors who are still able to move fairly well (getting up and down from the floor). The class is structured with particular attention to common injuries, ailments, and life stressors.

Power Yoga- Traditional Yoga with added core conditioning and strength moves.
